In 2019  we vended at our first VegFest, or Vegan Festival. There they emphasize that nothing may be sold if it contains any ingredients from animals.  It was at that moment that we realized making our balms with beeswax keeps them from being accessible to everyone.  From that day forward we opted to use tree wax in place of beeswax.
